Programme Details
Venue: Billingham Boxing Academy, 31-35 West Precinct, Billingham, TS23 2NN
Dates: Sunday 22nd March - Sunday 3rd May (no session Easter Sunday 5th April)
Time: 5pm - 7pm
Please wear clothing that is suitable for exercise; you may also wish to bring a towel and we recommend you bring water.
Sessions are suitable for all experience and fitness levels - we're here to support you and will never expect you to do more than you feel able to.
We understand you may feel nervous about attending - that's natural, please remember that we are here to support you, and we are happy to answer any questions you may have. You're welcome to bring someone along to the sessions for support if you'd like to.
Session details - fun and supportive
Each Knock Out Depression session includes:
- 1 hour of non-contact boxing training (bags, pads, fitness) - suitable for all ages and fitness levels, designed to get you moving and have fun
- 1 hour Knock Out Depression mental health education, discussion and group support.
NOTE: you don't have to have any experience of, or interest in, boxing - most of our participants have never put on a pair of gloves and love it once they give it a go!
Programmes are for ages 18+ and we have had participants from the ages of 18 - 80!
How to Find Us
We are based in Billingham Town Centre, in the West Precinct above the Wetherspoon's pub and next to Li Wah Chinese restaurant. The entrance to the club is at the back of the precinct. Free car parking is available. The video shows our location and how to find us, and gives you a peek inside the club.
